Sofia Cseri Ferguson’s Expertise Ever since childhood, I have had an innate desire to help others and make a difference in people’s lives. This deep passion has drawn me to the worlds of Social Work, Special Education, and Applied Behavior Analysis. As a 2023 college graduate with a BA in Psychological Science, I have been able to explore these fields as a Behavior Interventionist at Baird School, providing intensive behavior support to children with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and intellectual disabilities. In this position, I have become certified in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Life Space Crisis Intervention, and Ukeru Systems, further demonstrating my desire to learn and implement trauma-informed, evidence-based practices. In my current position as Behavior Interventionist, I have been provided the opportunity to dive deeper into my interests and passions, driving me to apply to graduate school in the hopes of becoming a licensed professional in the fields of Social Work, Special Education, and/or Applied Behavior Analysis. These are where my passions lie, and where I will make a systemic difference. I am a passionate, organized, and empathetic individual who truly cares about the people I work with every day. I am enthusiastic to continue learning in this field and advance my ability to care for the people I work with, as they deserve the very best in social support services.
